  • Well-Read Black Girl is an affinity space for Black women readers & writers. Our monthly book club selections focus on empowering the narratives of Black women, we encourage readers who identify as genderqueer, non-binary, or others who feel inspired by what we’re doing to join us and be a part of our community.

  • Visit this map to find a meeting in your city! Attend the book club meetings in person and sign-up to receive our bi-monthly newsletter to keep up to date with events, including our annual literary festival in November.

  • We encourage you to visit a local independent bookstore to purchase the book. You can also check out the book from your neighborhood library. If you prefer buying books online IndieBound is an excellent option. And of course, you can purchase books on Amazon.

  • Build a new, exciting community around our book club meetings.
