The 2nd annual Well-Read Black Girl Festival is happening on November 10th! We’re planning a diverse, intimate program celebrating authors, readers, and community organizations like, 651 ARTS and The NY Writers’ Coalition, who we feel exemplify our spirit and mission. This year we will welcome more than 25+ authors and artists to join us for one-of-a-kind fellowship in Brooklyn, NY. Readings, panel discussions, and performances will fill the entire day of the festival. I have been completely humbled by the community response and continue to draw inspiration from the legacies of Black writers. Thank you for supporting our journey. Well-Read Black Girl is a collective step toward a more equitable, diverse space within publishing.
